Wisdom Willow Tree
$29.99
The "Wisdom" Willow Tree figurine is a popular 4.5-inch hand-painted resin sculpture created by Susan Lordi. This minimalist, faceless figurine features a female figure in a cream-colored dress seated on a gray rock, deeply engrossed in a book. It carries the official sentiment: "A lifelong love of learning."
Design & Symbolism
The piece was deeply personal to the artist, inspired by Susan Lordi's own mother, who spent most of her life as a teacher. In line with the signature Willow Tree aesthetic, the figure has no facial features; instead, emotions and meanings are conveyed purely through subtle body language, such as the tilt of the head and the placement of the hands. It is designed to look as if it were carved from a single piece of wood.
Gifting Occasions
Because it symbolizes curiosity, personal growth, and intellectual discovery, the "Wisdom" figurine is widely used as a gift for:
- Educators: Teachers, librarians, mentors, and caregivers.
- Students: Recent graduates, avid readers, and book lovers.
- Milestones: Birthdays, academic accomplishments, or retirement celebrations.
