The Dancer Willow Tree

"The Dancer" is a popular, 5.5-inch hand-painted resin sculpture depicting a dancer sitting reflectively on a block. by artist Susan Lordi.  True to the Willow Trees Collection minimalist aesthetic, the sculpture features no facial expressions, relying instead on body language to communicate its official sentiment: "Creative expression comes from within". The figurine features a woman in a cream-colored leotard sitting in a quiet, pensive position on a block. Lordi chose a ballet/modern dance motif because she considers dance to be "sculpture in motion".
